What Are Inhalant And Epidermal Allergens

People with allergic reactions to inhalant allergens shows signs of running nose, sneezing, itching nose, throat tickling, itching eyes and watery eyes leading to asthma and hayfever. Inhalant allergens contain proteins activating the allergy.
Epidermal allergens are factors such as animals, plants, clothing, heat and food causing the body to release histamine (natural chemical released by the blood cells triggering allergic reactions) upon exposure or contacts. The four major types of skin allergy are:
- Contact dermatitis or inflammation of the skin by touching a particular substance or allergens including chemicals, rubbers, plants or even pets.
- Prickly heat caused by warm weather manifested by red itchy rash due to sweat trapped under the skin pores.
- Bites and sting irritations caused by insect bites.
